Course Details and Requirements

Prerequisites: This course is open to anyone 10 or older with Open Water Diver certification or equivalent, adequate swimming skills, and good physical health.

Learning Journey: The course begins with registration, paperwork, equipment fitting, and preliminary homework. The journey is split into two engaging sections:

1. Classroom Session: Learn to identify fish with fellow marine enthusiasts and our expert instructor. You'll start with a quiz and then learn about the essential diving gear for your ocean adventures.
2. Ocean Session at La Jolla Cove: The real excitement begins with two dives at La Jolla Cove, where you'll apply your newfound knowledge and complete two more dives, solidifying your fish ID skills.
